EID Days

Timing: It marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting. The exact date varies each year, based on the Islamic lunar calendar, and it is observed on the first day of Shawwal, the month following Ramadan.
Significance: It is a day of celebration and gratitude to Allah for the strength to complete the fast. It also emphasizes communal aspects and is a time for charity.
Traditions:
- Eid Prayer (Salat al-Eid): A special prayer is performed in congregation, usually in an open field or large mosque.
- Charity (Zakat al-Fitr): Muslims are required to give to the needy before the prayer.
- Feasting: Families gather for meals, and special dishes are prepared.
- Gifts and New Clothes: It is common to wear new clothes and exchange gifts.

Timing: It is celebrated approximately 70 days after Eid al-Fitr, on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic calendar, during the Hajj pilgrimage.
Significance: This festival commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to Allah. However, Allah provided a ram to sacrifice instead.

- Animal Sacrifice (Qurbani): An animal, usually a sheep, goat, cow, or camel, is sacrificed to remember Ibrahim's devotion. The meat is distributed among family, friends, and the needy.
- Feasting: Like Eid al-Fitr, families come together to share meals, with an emphasis on dishes made from the sacrificial meat.
- Hajj Pilgrimage: Those who are performing Hajj participate in rituals in Mecca, which culminate with the celebration of Eid al-Adha.
